Translate your Tumblr!
1- Log into your Tumblr dashboard: Log into Tumblr and navigate to your blog settings (or use this link!). Then the click 'Edit theme' button next to 'Website Theme':
Then, click on 'Edit HTML' under 'Custom Theme':
2- Get the Translate code: Open up a new browser window and, if you haven't already, sign up for an account at Translate.com (or just log in!). Then click 'Website Localizer' on the left, followed by 'Add New Website' to get started:
Add your domain name, select your site source language as well as all of the languages you want to translate into and click next:
Copy the code snippet, which your page will need for the translation (yours will have an actual key rather than just "my-key"):
3- Insert the Website Translator code into your app: Simply paste the code snippet from the last step into the blog HTML, right before the closing header tag (</head>, appears around line 133 of the default Tumblr theme):
4- Ensure the Website Translator widget appears on your blog: If the integration was successful, you should see the Website Translator widget in the bottom right corner of your blog posts. If you do, you're ready to translate! (Allow up to an hour for translations to appear):
